Fellows in this track will be placed in Metro Manila

We live in a time of accelerating change. Problems are becoming messier and more complex – but the opportunities for action have grown as well. Join our partners in transforming systems, institutions, and culture in order to unlock the potential of everyday people to make change.

Potential host organizations include:

Ashoka is an international organization, founded in 1980, that pioneered the field of social entrepreneurship through its Fellowship program – now a network of over 3000 leaders creating new solutions to social problems in their communities.

In the Philippines, the Ashoka team is identifying the most powerful solutions taking root across the country – and building a larger “Everyone a Changemaker” movement in organizations, schools, media, and beyond.

IBON is a development organization that has been serving the Filipino people through research and education since 1978. Through policy recommendations, network building, education, training, and mass mobilization campaigns, IBON provides data, insight, and voices that help tackle most urgent social, economic and political issues confronting Philippine society and the world.

Civika empowers organizations to have a greater impact through the creative use of knowledge capital and new technologies. They strengthen organizations and build tools that help communities make the world a better place.

Through their Bridging Leadership module, Civika crafts projects with development institutions and government agencies that allow them to tap into their own innate problem-solving potential – and at the same time mobilize others to amplify their impact.

BANTAY.PH is a platform that uses technology to mobilize citizens to demand good governance. Through technology, design, and advocacy, they aim to educate citizens about their rights to good government services and how they can avail of these services without paying bribes.
